NFLs 4th Week

October 1, 2007

Where to start…

Well my fave Panthers were upsetting this week against Tampa Bay. They stand 2-2, same as the Bucs.  The second loss at home… at home. We’re only in the fourth week! Looks like Carolina is going to show a pathetic season.  20-7, enough said.

Brett Favre is firing on all cylinders. Setting the TD record. Hopefully he’ll stay in the league until he breaks the passing record set by Dan Marino. Improving their team to 4-0, could this be the year? After his 32/45 2 td, and 0 int it could be.

Daunte Culpepper of the Raiders brought a victory to Oakland. About time that boy has done something. Ever since the good old days of (98) with Randy by his side, he hasn’t performed for shit. Minnesota then Miami now Oakland. Lets hope he stays in one place to get a ring?

Tony Romo and the Cowboys are playing well. Improved record of 4-0. Looks like the teams chemistry is working. In the last four games they haven’t put up less than 34 points. I guess TO has kept his mouth shut, and caught the ball?

Indy dominated Denver. Line stats showed it was a good game. Payton Manning threw superb 20-27, 193 yards, 3tds. Score was 38-20.

NY Giants upset the Philadelphia Eagles. I guess Donovan was sick that day? 16 to 3, I would believe so.

SD Chargers RB LT ran for 132 yds, and they still lost to Arizona! I don’t know what to say about this game. I hope Priest Holmes, and LJ ran well…

Tom Brady’s Pats won over Cincy. I guess that number 85 F.H.O.F didn’t put up? I hate these trash talking WRs. What happened to the days when they made enough to pay bills, and played for the hell of it? Until these salaries decrease I guess it won’t.

.. The rest are worthless to mention.

No Power Steering – Holy Sh!t

October 1, 2007

Earlier today I was driving my M1151 to a meeting. An M1151 is one of the newest additions to the HMMWV line. High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle for the less informed ones of the Military jargon! We were having problems this week with the Power Steering or the Brake Rotors. Well today, actually my shift, had to be that day! As I’m driving a loud ass annoying whining started. Eventually the steering just gives. Now I didn’t realize this until after I parked, what a pain the ass it is to drive a 5,200 lb vehicle from a dead stop. I’m telling you I think I pulled a muscle. My forearms are killing me from the constant abuse of General Motors. These vehciles are pieces of shit. How come we can’t afford something that works… longer then say a year? With congress or whoever approving these seven figure bills? Anyways – I feel bad for the next guy! Hope to have it fixed in a day or so. With these mechanics here maybe realistically a week?

My Review: Good Luck Chuck

October 1, 2007

I watched Good Luck Chuck last night, and here are my thoughts…

The movie is about a guy that was hexxed as a child. The hex was basically you’ll never be happy, but the woman after you will be. The movie shows a lot of large implant breasts. So if your on a date, or the wife doesn’t like that stuff this movie is a no-no. Dane shows loyalty at first by not taking advantage of women with his “condition”. Later on he exploits it nicely. When he meets Murphy (woman that is prone to accidents) nicknamed after Murphies Law he changes his lifestyle. Murphy (Jessica Alba) did a wonderful job on her clutsy accidents. After he finds out that the curse is true from his friend he must find a way to keep Murphy. This is where the movie gets good. The funny scenes were hilarious. The movie is a good laugh. With two large celebrities the movie will pull some good revenue. The acting in the movie was superb, and contained a well written story line. You won’t be bored!

Overall the movie recieves 3.5 out of 5 stars

Starting Point

September 30, 2007

I guess I swallowed a blog bug. I never really thought of creating a blog on myself. What acoincidence? well any who – I’m just an average person finding ways to vent.  I’m married, and I have three little ones. I’m currently a soldier serving our nation in Iraq. If you didn’t tell, Military isn’t for everyone. It’s been good to me – no doubt. I guess that time has came, and it’s time to move on. I’m speaking as if I leave the service tomorrow! Damn Army and their smucking Stoploss! I hope to become an Entrepreneur in some form of fashion. Not fashion as in the industry, but the other way. I guess this blog can keep me motivated to do so. Other than that you’ll catch random writings of all sorts. Variety of writings – this how I came up with the subtitle Blog of Diversity (lol) If you had to narrow it down: Life (family, relationships, friends, education) Finance (online investments, occupation investments, personal finance) Fitness & Health(weight loss, weight gain, supplements, dieting, training, exercises) and Entertainment (gaming, dvd, books, music, dining, sports, humor)
